9 Credit Score Myths You Shouldn’t Believe Anymore

Will your credit score really matter out there, in the real world, or is it just for your own pride?

It doesn’t come as a surprise that some folks out there are boasting their 800-plus credit score as if they would be a badge of honor. It’s true that earning a top-notch credit score is definitely a sign that you managed your credit very responsibly.

Even so, the real-world implications of a top-tier credit score are much more important than having something to brag about. The higher you can get your credit score, the less interest you will have to pay on the majority of loans, from mortgages and car loans to personal loans and even credit cards.

In fact, in some situations, you might not even be able to receive a loan unless you have an impeccable credit score.
