Where to keep these papers

If you are wondering where you store all of this paperwork, stay with us because we are going to give you some tips. The first thing you need to know is that the IRS accepts digital documentation and sees it as legally valid. That means you don’t have to have a dozen boxes all around your house in order to store all of these papers.

You can easily save them all on your computer and you should be fine. We think that it is best if you save them in a secured folder in PDF format. In this way, they will not take too much space from your hard drive.

Also, another important thing to keep in mind is that you should always have a backup of them somewhere else. You can try an external hard drive for this or an online service such as Google Drive or any other online file storage service.
