You have spent your whole life working extremely hard, I think it’s safe to say that you deserve to enjoy yourself a little bit in retirement. Even so, when you live on a fixed income, it’s very important to know where your money goes, and not just spend recklessly on every little thing.

I know, the temptation makes it hard sometimes, but you can definitely do it! After consulting with a bunch of financial experts and business leaders, we discovered the ways through which retirees spend most of their money – and regret it later. So here are 11 of the most common reasons why retirees are left with no money:
